Operation is as simple as it gets. A standard submersible slurry pump draws raw manure out of the pit and feeds it into the machine's inlet chamber. Inside, a heavy-duty internal screw auger catches the wet solids, driving them continuously forward through a cylindrical mesh filter.
As the auger turns, space inside the chamber narrows, applying mechanical squeeze pressure against the waste. Liquid streams out through the fine mesh screen into a collection outlet below, while solid fibers press against a spring-loaded discharge flap. Once the internal force builds up sufficiently, the flap opens, dropping semi-dry, stackable organic solids directly onto the ground or a loader trailer.
